We fish woods and shallows in the early spring using spinners, crank bait, and plastic grubs. It is not uncommon to get some large 4 lb. Small Mouth during the spawning season, and 3 pounders are plentiful. In June, we start fishing the weed beds and other structures using plastic worms, jigs, and crank bait. Fishing in South Dakota is the perfect getaway, and were not as far away as you might think. There are docking facilities less then one hour from the Kimball Exit on I-90. |
